Celebrating the Homewise Team
Let's face it, equal gender splits are great for business, and we'll be the first to put our hands up and say it. A mixed cohort brings a different level of idea-generation, important perspectives and an outstanding uniqueness from every team member that allows us to deliver from every level.
To learn more about our team, and what we do on a daily basis, why not watch our short videos and have a look behind the scenes?
Did you know? As of 2018 only 29% of women took up the top earning roles in the FTSE 100. To put this into perspective, of all the FTSE 100 CEOs, you're more likely to meet a Steve, than a woman! Comparatively, here at Homewise, across all of our leadership, managerial and director roles, 43% are filled by women.
With the property industry being notoriously male dominated, we’re elated to have a company that demonstrates equality, encourages empowerment and celebrates individual and collaborative success.
Everything that we do is tailored towards providing bespoke Home for Life Plans, for those customers desiring the perfect retirement. This is demonstrated by the results from our internal 2019 engagement survey. 100% of our staff members believe that the work Homewise does makes a positive difference to our customers.
We believe that if our workplace continues to operate in the way that it does, this will be mirrored in day to day operations.
To echo the sentiment of International Women’s Day:
“Equality is not a women’s issue it is a business issue. Gender equality is essential for economies and communities to thrive.”
Let’s pave the way together.
Here at Homewise, not only do we champion gender equality - quality customer service is at the heart of everything we do. If you're looking to make a change in your career, and are looking to be part of an inclusive team that supports development, why not head over to our careers page?
