Protecting You

We understand how important moving home and the decisions needed to be made can be. It’s really important that everyone involved is comfortable with your decision to move and we go to great lengths to ensure that you, your home and your rights are protected throughout the entire process, both in law and in our Code of Practice.

The Home for Life Plan in Law

Your Home for Life Plan lease is registered at Land Registry, and your legal rights concerning inheritance and your safeguarded percentage are laid down in a Declaration of Trust.

Homewise and Regulation

We provide property products and services, not financial products, here at Homewise. We don’t offer any form of financial service, like a loan or mortgage, which means we don't fall under the remit of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). We're experts in the Home for Life Plan though, and our Code of Practice is set up to ensure honesty, clarity and professionalism at all times.

Protecting your Family

Your Declaration of Trust details what percentage you have safeguarded and your rights to sell this percentage, should you wish. We will always put you and your family's best interests first and will happily talk your loved ones through the plan, if you’d like us to.
