Choosing your new home

  • When considering a move to your new home we understand that there is a lot to consider, and at Homewise we want to you ensure that your new property fulfils all your requirements, for now and the future. Through the Lifetime Lease affordability of the right property for you becomes reality.

As with any property move there are the key criteria that you should take into account when deciding on your new home and many of these are particularly important when selecting for your retirement years. These will include:

Location - Is it close to the shops, transport links etc. Is it on flat ground or a hill?

Property Type - If your current property is unmanageable consider what would be more suitable i.e. a move from a three bedroom house to a two bedroom apartment or bungalow.

Retirement or Non-Retirement - Do you wish to retain more of your own independence or is a purpose-built and managed retirement development more appropriate for your needs?

In addition to the above criteria your decision to take up the Lifetime Lease may be for additional reasons other than the unsuitability of your current home. These could be that you wish to:

    • Free-up cash from your existing property.
    • Pay off an outstanding mortgage or debts.
    • Give an early inheritance gift.

Whatever your reasons, our dedicated team of sales consultants will ensure you find the home that's right for you.
