Anne Angel had been looking to move closer to her daughter since her mother had to go into full time care. Having already downsized once to be a full time carer for her mother, she then wanted to start a new life. Ms Angel also wanted to improve her standard of living but was faced with few options if she wanted to move home.
Ms Angel agreed with her daughter to move from her home in Kent to a beautiful £280,000 semi detached cottage in Lancaster. She used Homewise, which meant she only paid £197,000 for a Lifetime Lease in the property, raising £83,000 to spend on enjoying her retirement.
