Mr & Mrs Dyke had only given a passing thought to the idea of moving home before they noticed an advertisement for the Homewise Lifetime Lease in Saga magazine. In fact, they had only recently made several improvements to their three bedroom house in Leicester with a view to staying-put for sometime.
However, around the same time as they had noticed the Lifetime Lease advertisement Mrs Dyke spotted a not-to-be-missed bungalow for sale in the same town. The Dykes, with no time to waste, viewed the bungalow, fell in love with it and made an immediate offer, which thankfully was accepted.
The next step for them was the complimentary home visit from their personal Homewise sales consultant. This offered the opportunity for the Dykes to discuss the benefits of the Lifetime Lease and most importantly the chance to find out how much they could save on their new property whilst in the comfort of their own home.
This personal service for the Dykes continued throughout the whole process of arranging the Lifetime Lease. Mr Dyke commented that "Lee in Sales Progression had been on-the-ball the whole time" in ensuring their application went smoothly to completion.
By using the Lifetime Lease the Dykes saved over £74,000 on the price of their new bungalow. They paid £167,611 for a lifetime's enjoyment of their new home which had a market value of £242,000. The Lifetime Lease also meant the Dykes were able to upgrade to a more expensive property, pay less for it and raise money in the process to spend on themselves. Mr Dyke said he and his wife were "Absolutely thrilled to bits with their new home, it was out of this world".
The Dykes have already used some of the money raised in their move to treat themselves to a Mediterranean cruise and are now looking forward to enjoying many more.
